As a part of our professional installation of electric water heaters, we will perform the following:
- Obtain required permits (where applicable)
- Disconnect, remove, and dispose of the existing tank (drop clothes put down over the floor)
- Install a new safety water shut-off value
- Install new water heater
- Fill, cycle, and bleed your home’s water lines
Natural Gas Water Heaters
As a part of our professional installation of natural gaas water heaters, we will perform the following:
- Obtain required permits (where applicable)
- Disconnect, remove, and dispose of the existing tank (drop clothes put down over the floor)
- Install a new safety water shut-off value
- Install new water heater
- Reconnect the existing flue piping
- Install a new safety gas shut-off valve
- Fill, cycle, and bleed your home's water lines
The Fine Print
Extra charges may apply for clearly hard-to-access tanks, or if original water heater cannot be removed from existing location without structural modifications to the home.
Other charges may result from the need to upgrade or repair components external to the water heater such as:
- Leaking, excessively-worn or damaged connecting pipes in the home
- Damaged, aged or non code-compliant flue piping or chimney liners
- Damaged, aged or non code-compliant electrical breakers or electrical wiring, etc.
- Damage resulting from an existing leaking water heater
